Nevin is a licensed intellectual property attorney with over 28 years experience helping individuals and businesses of all sizes make the most of their great ideas. He provides counsel and legal direction in cases that involve patent, trademark, copyright, and intellectual property decisions.

After earning an engineering physics degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Houston. Nevin received a Juris Doctor degree from St. Mary's University and was admitted to the Texas and U.S. Patent Bars in 1980. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2002.

Nevin has offices located in Gulf Breeze, Florida and in Mobile, Alabama at the University of South Alabama Research and Technology Park. He is the author of "Protect Your Great Ideas for Free!" available at
Maximun Press.

Nevin is an Eagle Scout, one of the few people who actually bought a ticket to Woodstock, and a retired Navy Commander who served in Vietnam. Nevin lives in Gulf Breeze, Florida, with his wife Norma, two children Ellen and Nevie, and two goofy cats named Tony and Chico.
